dbms_xplan.display_cursor

Never too late today i thought to learn and know about  using the packaged function DBMS_XPLAN.DISPLAY_CURSOR (as i was trying to tune the query :)).

The DBMS_XPLAN package had 4 table fuctions :

1. DISPLAY :- formats and displays the contents of the plan table,

2. DISPLAY_CURSOR :- formats and displays the contents of the execution plan of any loaded cursor.

3. DISPLAY_AWR :- formats and displays the contents of the execution plan of the stored SQL statement in the AWR.

4. DISPLAY_SQLSET :- formats and displays the contents of the execution plan of statements stored in the SQL tuning set.

Below two links were interesting to read and thought to put them in my blog..
